Church club honors police, firefighters

The St. Paschal Baylon Men's Club and the Rev. Dave Heney will host the annual Police and Fire Awards Night Dinner at 6 p.m. Mon., April 2 in Thomas Aquinas Hall at the church, 155 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.

The club holds annual events to honor the service and dedication to the community shown by police and firefighters.

The honorees include Dep. Laura Natoli, Officer of the Year, and Capt. Brian Dilley, Firefighter of the Year. Men's Club member Bob Kama will be recognized as Member of Honor for his years of service to the church.

Ed Krol, former club president, will serve as master of ceremonies. Award presenters will include club president Gary Johnson and Ventura County Supervisor Linda Parks.
