Newbury Park

A police officer arrested a male, on a charge of disturbing the peace by fighting at 11:37 p.m. March 2 in the 700 block of Newbury Road.

A male, 21, was arrested and charged with possession of a switchblade knife at 3:38 a.m. March 2 in a parking lot at the end of Alessandro Drive.

A trash bin caught fire and two storage-bin locks were damaged by a blowtorch after burglary in the 4600 block of Via Rio between 1:15 and 1:25 a.m. March 8.

Two vehicles were broken into and burglarized the night of March 6 in the 1700 block of Via Petirrojo.

A female, 33, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of drugs and for a warrant for her arrest at 8:35 p.m. March 6 in the 1200 block of Newbury Road.

At 4:35 p.m. March 9, a female, 43, was arrested on DUI charges in the 3200 block of Gerald.

A male, 36, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of drugs at 11:23 a.m. March 9 in the 1300 block of Oaktrail Street.

A home was burglarized during daytime on March 9 in the 1700 block of Crystal View Circle.

The night of March 7 a backpack was stolen from a vehicle in the 1900 block of Newbury Road.

An act of vandalism was reported in the 300 block of Jenny Drive. It occurred the night of March 9.

Several vehicles were burglarized the night of March 8. Many of vehicles were unlocked. Incidents were reported in the 900 and 1000 blocks of Oakmound, 3900 block of Elkwood Avenue, 900 block of Oak, 4200 block of Dalewood Avenue.

A female, 41, was arrested on a charge of being under the influence of a controlled substance at 11:23 a.m. March 9 in the 1300 block of Oaktrail Street.

Thousand Oaks

Between midnight March 4 and 6:30 a.m. March 5, someone entered an unlocked vehicle in the 1300 block of Roselawn Avenue and stole a computer, cash and a Palm Pilot.

Windows were targeted with rocks and sprinkler heads were broken off on March 4 or 5 in the 100 block of Moody Court.

An explosive device destroyed a wooden mailbox at 1 a.m. March 7 in the 300 block of Ventu Park Road.

In the 200 block of Beyer Lane, a laptop computer was stolen between March 2 and 4.

A male, 18, was battered by an assailant who used brass knuckles between 4:30 and 5 a.m. March 4 in the 4300 block of Oak Place.

Undisclosed items were stolen from a vehicle in the 4300 block of Blackwood Street between 5 p.m. March 3 and 7:30 a.m. March 4.

Someone stole items from an unlocked vehicle between March 1 and 3 in the 500 block of Gainsborough Street.

Around 11 p.m. March 2 in the 300 block of Burton, a female, 21, and a male, 32, were battered. A male, 36, was arrested at 11:28 p.m.

A building in the 1200 block of Calle Almendro was burglarized the night of Feb. 23. The incident was only recently reported.

A male, 36, who was allegedly intoxicated when he challenged another person to fight at 8:42 a.m. March 6 in the 300 block of Avenida de Los Arboles, was also arrested on a DUI charge.

A male, 27, was arrested and charged with drunk driving at 1:35 a.m. March 6 on Hampshire Road, south of T.O. Boulevard.

At 8:45 p.m. March 3, a female, 45, was arrested and charged with DUI. The suspect had been observed driving erratically on the southbound 101 Freeway, east of Moorpark Road.

A male, 23, was arrested on susupicion of driving while intoxicated in the first block of Wilbur Road at 2:45 a.m. March 3.

A male, 25, was stopped for a routine traffic infraction at 8 p.m. March 2 at Avenida de Los Arboles and Avenida de Las Plantas. A glass pipe was seen on the floor and a record's check revealed the subject was driving on a suspended license and the vehicle had a false registration sticker. He was then also arrested and charged with being under the influence of a stimulant.

In the first block of Baxter Way, a vehicle was burglarized between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. March 8.

Someone tried to break into a vehicle in the first block of Miramar Street the night of March 7.

A building was burglarized in the 3000 block of Wildhorse Circle between Feb. 23 and March 8.

Something was stolen from a building in the 800 block of Silver Cloud Street between Feb. 23 and March 8.

A washing machine was stolen from an apartment building in the 500 block of Gainsborough Road the night of March 7.

A home was vandalized (smashed windows, damage to walls) between March 1 and 7 in the 3100 block of Foothill. Property was also stolen.

An apartment complex had graffiti damage in the 1300 block of E. Hillcrest after more than $400 vandalism damage on March 6 or 7.

Property was stolen from a locked vehicle in the 2700 block of Queens Garden Court between 12:25 and 7:25 a.m. March 7.

A vehicle in the 2700 block of Elder Oak Road was burglarized the night of March 6.

An unlocked vehicle was ransacked in the 200 block of Greenlea Place the night of March 6.

A vehicle window was smashed and items were stolen in the 2400 block of E. Wilbur Lane between 6 and 6:20 a.m. Around the same time and location, the windows of two other vehicles were similarly damaged and valuables were stolen.

The playground of Colina Middle School was targeted with spray paint the night of March 6.

At 9:55 p.m. March 7, a male, 37, was arrested on a DUI charge after a noninjury traffic collision at Avenida de Los Arboles and Calle Quebracho.

A female, 51, was arrested on charges of embezzlement, giving false refunds and keeping the cash at 2:24 p.m. March 7 in the 2000 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

At Sunset Hills and the 23 Freeway, a female, 21, was arrested on a DUI charge at 1:34 a.m. March 7.

A female, 33, was arrested and charged with massage parlor violations at 11:30 p.m. Feb. 16. The arrest was made in the 2100 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard, but the incident(s) allegedly occurred in the 3600 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A vehicle was scratched by a vandal in the 600 block of Azalea Street the night of March 9.

Someone stole merchandise from a supermarket in the 1500 block of N. Moorpark Road the afternoon of March 9.

An unlocked vehicle was burglarized the night of March 8 in the 3900 block of S. Camphor Avenue.

A vehicle in the 400 block of Calle Arroyo was burglarized between March 2 and 9.

Something was stolen on Feb. 16 in the 500 block of Camino Manzanas. The incident was only recently reported.

A known suspect illegally withdrew money from bank accounts on March 7 in the 1300 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Computer software was stolen in the 3200 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard between Dec. 4 and Jan. 31. The incident was only recently reported.

Between March 2 and 5, something was stolen from the city of Thousand Oaks in the 1400 block of E. Janss Road.

A vehicle window was smashed and items were stolen between 2:15 and 8:40 a.m. March 9 in the 2000 block of Shoemaker Lane.

A window was smashed by burglar(s) the night of March 6 in the 200 block of Greenlea Place.

On southbound Hampshire Road, south of the 101 Freeway, a male, 21, was arrested on a DUI charge at 2:02 a.m. March 10.

A suspect was arrested and charged with possession of a switchblade knife after police responded to a domestic disturbance at 12:16 a.m. March 10 in the 200 block of N. Conejo School Road.

A male, 47, was arrested at 5:53 p.m. March 9 at Janss and Wilbur roads and charged with DUI.

Westlake/T.O.

At 6 p.m. March 4 in the 500 block of Via Colinas, a male, 18, was arrested on suspicion of possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

A male, 18, was arrested and charged with urinating in public at 6:40 p.m. March 4 in the 500 block of Via Colinas.

Items were stolen from a storage container on March 9 or 10 in the 2900 block of Townsgate Road. The loss was $6,740. In a similar incident during the same time period in the same location, the loss was $2,000.
