New West Symphony to present audiovisual concert

      Fusing symphonic music with photographs of the Yosemite National Park landscape, the New West Symphony and Larry Janss have created a unique series of concerts geared to transport the audience into the wild beauty of the West. The musical and visual voyage explores the emotional and spiritual impact that the Yosemite Valley has had on visitors for generations, said organizers.

Larry Janss is film's executive producer
      Larry Janss is a Conejo Valley native who works in real estate development and banking. He's also the executive producer of a new feature motion picture, "My Suicide," a dark, comedic exploration into the causes of and ways to help prevent teenage suicide.

Wine tasting fundraiser will help support the Community Foundation
      The Thousand Oaks-Westlake Village Community Foundation will host a wine tasting fundraiser from 6 to 9 p.m. Sat., April 28 at a private Lynn Ranch home. The event will raise money for scholarships for local high school seniors in the regional occupational program.
