Elks have another achiever in Scouting

HELPS THOSE IN NEED- Trevor Wineman, center, is flanked by Bill Miller, left, and Bill Sternberg. For his Eagle project Trevor created more than 150 hats and hat pins for patients who are fighting cancer and going through chemotherapy. Family members and friends helped. Trevor was honored at Newbury Park High School. He's a member of Boy Scout Troop No. 754, which is sponsored by Thousand Oaks Elks Lodge No. 2477. Miller is the Elks Scouting chairman and Sternberg is the west regional Scouting chairman for the Elks.
