Civility matters, even in letters to the Acorn
In response to both letters from Douglas Crocket and Scott McGregor, I am mortified at the hateful letters that the Acorn is printing these days. The paper seems to be joining the fray of media that divides us all by printing hateful extremes. I am sure that there are thoughtful and eloquent writers in our community, and I hope we hear from them. More ...
Letter said more about its author than its target

Coffee company with strange name works for America
In response to Bonnie McAfee's Feb. 22 letter ("Name of new coffee shop has her boiling mad"), I would like to humbly emphasize Bad Ass Coffee Company's commitment to community and specifically to our community of troops overseas. It's important to note that all Bad Ass Coffee Company stores that we have organizationally approved to open have opened. More ... Letters RSS feed |
