David Charles Goldberg was called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah of The Center for Early Jewish Education in Thousand Oaks on Jan. 27. He is a seventh-grade student at Los Cerritos Middle School and is the son of Uriel Chaim and Margaret Mary Goldberg of Thousand Oaks.

Zachary Umann was called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah of The Center for Early Jewish Education in Thousand Oaks on Feb. 3. He is the son of Stacy and Michael Umann of Oak Park and is a seventh-grader at Media Creek Middle School.
