Hillcrest. The California Shakespeare Company will present the 70th anniversary production of John Steinbeck's "Of Mice and Men" March 2 through 18 at the Theatre on the Hill, 403 W. Hillcrest Road, Thousand Oaks.

Performance times are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m.

Set in the 1930s Depression era, the show portrays two migrant workers striving to attain the "American dream" of owning their own place. The production is directed by William H. Fisher.
