Summer enrichment program offered

The Conejo Schools Foundation, a nonprofit community organization which provides a variety of support to the Conejo Valley Unified School District, will offer a five-week, Monday through Thursday morning enrichment program at four sites this summer.

The locations include Lang Ranch, Madrona, Westlake Hills and Banyan elementary schools.

The foundation will also offer an optional afternoon extension for those attending the morning program, Monday through Thursday plus all day Friday at the Madrona, Westlake Hills and Banyan sites.

The enrichment program will provide activities that give children the opportunity to practice academic skills. The afternoon program will offer students supervised activities in art, music, drama, recreation and physical education.

The program will run from June 20 to July 27, with no session on Wed., July 4.

Applications will be mailed to Conejo Valley Unified School District students in kindergarten through fifth grade and will also be available from elementary schools or the district office after March 15.

Cost for the program is $475 for the morning enrichment program and $975 for the morning and afternoon programs.
