Chabad hosts Purim Iuau
      Chabad of the Conejo is offering a Hawaiian-style luau with Hawaiian cuisine, tropical drinks and entertainment to the Jewish community on Purim from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sun., March 4 at a location in Agoura Hills. Participants are asked to come in Purim or modest Hawaiian attire.

Two youths called to the Torah
      David Charles Goldberg was called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah of The Center for Early Jewish Education in Thousand Oaks on Jan. 27. He is a seventh-grade student at Los Cerritos Middle School and is the son of Uriel Chaim and Margaret Mary Goldberg of Thousand Oaks.
