What do you think of traffic conditions in Thousand Oaks?

ANN SELTZER Thousand Oaks "From 3 to 6 p.m., traveling on the 101 Freeway to the 23 Freeway north is all backed up. Do I have a solution? No. I'm for improving the freeway and I understand about how important it is to block the sound, but I'm disappointed with the walls- potential poster board for graffiti- because the walls cover up the beauty of Thousand Oaks." SHIRLEY KENNY Thousand Oaks "I'm hoping they will cover up the sound walls they've put around the 23 Freeway. Maybe they will put up landscaping. Right now it feels like you could be anywhere- Thousand Oaks is lost behind them. I think the freeway improvements are a good idea and am looking forward to finding out what the difference will be." WHIT WILLIAMS Thousand Oaks "Overall the traffic in Thousand Oaks is not that bad. It's a lot better here than I've found in L.A. and Phoenix. I'm not sure how they would improve it. With all the people here, on the roads, I think the traffic flows pretty well." JOHN DOTY Thousand Oaks "It's hard to get from one end of town to the other. Sometimes people speed and run stop signs. I take back ways and cut through town to save time when the freeways are slow. Not much we can do about it except get rid of some of the people, but that wouldn't be good for the economy."
