DA's office appoints deputy chief investigator

The district attorney's office of Ventura County recently promoted senior investigator Glen Kitzmann to the position of deputy chief investigator.

Kitzmann's law enforcement career spans more than 28 years, including the last 16 with the DA's office where he served in every unit of the Bureau of Investigation and supervised the Welfare Fraud and the Economic Crimes units.

Kitzmann served as president of the Ventura County Deputy Sheriff's Association from 1999 to 2003.

Kitzmann has a bachelor's degree in leadership and has completed the Ventura County Sheriff's Department's leadership development course and the POST management course.
