Army band coming to Pepperdine

The U.S. Army Concert Band "Pershing's Own" will perform a free concert at 8 p.m. Mon., March 12 at Pepperdine University's Smothers Theatre, 24255 Pacific Coast Hwy., Malibu.

The band, founded by Army chief of staff Gen. John J. Pershing in 1922, leads every inaugural parade.
