Conejo Players present 'Schoolhouse Rock Live!'

The Conejo Players Theatre will present "Schoolhouse Rock Live!" March 3 through 11 at the theater, 351 S. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks.

Performances are Saturday and Sunday at 1 and 4 p.m., and Fri., March 9 at 7 p.m. School performances will be presented at 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Wed., March 7.

The story revolves around Tom, a school teacher nervous about his first day on the job. As he tries to relax by watching TV, various characters representing facets of his personality emerge from the set and show him how to win his students over with imagination and music.

The show includes songs from "Schoolhouse Rock," including "Just a Bill," "Lolly, Lolly, Lolly" and "Conjunction Junction."

Cast members are Teza Belmond, Davis Benz, Kuba Chyla, Nia Colemon, Lalanya Gunn, Jeremy Hanna, Devin Milligan, Kayla Milligan, Kellie Porto, Cameron Reilly, Jessica Ryugo, Zach Schultz, Isabella Van Etten, Tasha Wenger and Chris White.

The book is by George Keating, Kyle Hall and Scott Ferguson. Music and lyrics are by Bob Dorough, Dave Frishberg, George Newall, Kathy Mandry, Lynn Ahrens and Tom Yohe.
