      The Conejo Players Theatre will present "Schoolhouse Rock Live!" March 3 through 11 at the theater, 351 S. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks. Performances are Saturday and Sunday at 1 and 4 p.m., and Fri., March 9 at 7 p.m. School performances will be presented at 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Wed., March 7.

Army band coming to Pepperdine
      The U.S. Army Concert Band "Pershing's Own" will perform a free concert at 8 p.m. Mon., March 12 at Pepperdine University's Smothers Theatre, 24255 Pacific Coast Hwy., Malibu. The band, founded by Army chief of staff Gen. John J. Pershing in 1922, leads every inaugural parade.

Ensemble Bella Musica performs the 'Manchester Sonatas' at CLU
      The music department at California Lutheran University will sponsor the Ensemble Bella Musica at 7:30 p.m. Sat., Feb. 24 in the Samuelson Chapel. The ensemble will reveal how a music manuscript by Antonio Vivaldi ended up in a library in Manchester, England. The group will perform these "Manchester Sonatas." Quartet and trio sonatas are also on the program.

Virtuoso performance for the Masons
      SPECIAL EVENING- - Ashot Tigranyan and his classical concert chamber orchestra perform at the Conejo Valley Masonic Lodge. Tigranyan, a member of the lodge, is a world-renowned concert violinist who studied with legendary Russian violinist Leonid Kogan. Last week's music and dinner presented an opportunity to recognize widows of former members of the lodge.
