Legal course offered by Jewish Academy
      The Conejo Jewish Academy will present a four-week course titled "You Be the Judge" at 8 p.m. Wednesdays beginning Feb. 28 at 30345 Canwood St., Agoura Hills. The course, taught by Rabbi Moshe Bryski and open to students of all backgrounds, will examine cases that were presented to a Beit Din (Jewish court of law).

Local man compiles book on 'A World Without Jews'
      A Thousand Oaks man has compiled a book called "A World Without Jews." Leonard Zerlin was inspired to write the book because of comments by Mahmoud Ahmedinejad, the leader of Iran. Ahmedinejad claims that the Holocaust never happened and vows to wipe Israel off the map.

      The Jewish Women's Circle will host a prePurim workshop, "Purim Expressions," 8 p.m. Tues., Feb. 27 at Chabad of Oak Park, 5998 Conifer St., Oak Park.       The Conejo Unit of Church Women United will celebrate World Day of Prayer on March 2 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1 Avenida de Los Arboles, Thousand Oaks. Coffee fellowship is at 10 a.m. with the service at 10:30 a.m. Esther Biersma will lead the singing, accompanied by Aina Abrahamson.
