Those who deny global warming are in the hip pocket of big business

Those who choose to deny global warming need to dig a little deeper than simply parroting the party line.

As Deep Throat said regarding the mysteries of Watergate, "Follow the money."

All these brilliant thinkers need to remember is that all the "experts" who deny global warming are being well paid, directly or indirectly, by big petroleum interests. Most of the broad field of scientists and others who support this contention are doing so from a base of evidence and personal conviction that know few, if any, corporate sponsors.

Big Tobacco would have nothing to gain by backing Al Gore's position, even if that supposition were true--it's more likely just another fabrication by the right-wing press or Fox News, who tell us whatever Cheney's staff tells them. Pete Gerard Thousand Oaks
