Boy Scout earns top honor

A JOB WELL DONE- - Bill Miller, Scouting chairman of the Thousand Oaks Elks Lodge No. 2477, left, presents a plaque and American flag to Eagle Scout David Michael Atherton. For his project, Atherton and volunteers painted 3,300 feet of parking curbs and speed bumps. Qdoba Mexican Grill provided lunch and the Do-it Center donated paint brushes and trays.
