Agoura Hills dance team going to New York City
      Company dancers from the Agoura Hills Dance and Performing Arts Center recently received top honors at the regional trials in Burbank for the New York City Dance Alliance. They will be showcasing their skills at the national championships in New York in July 2007.

Elks will say thanks to police and firefighters
      The Thousand Oaks Elks Lodge No. 2477 will host the 30th annual Law Enforcement and Firefighter Appreciation program on Wed., Jan. 24 at the lodge, 158 Conejo School Road, Thousand Oaks. The public is invited. A social period will begin at 6 p.m. in the lodge lounge area. Dinner of barbecue ribs and chicken will be served at 7 p.m. Cost for the dinner is $12.
