Principal takes a pie in the face

CREAM PIE DELIGHT—Kelly Laschi, 8, of Thousand Oaks is just having too much fun as she applies a chocolate cream pie, above, to the face of University Elementary School Principal Jeff Rickert. While the principal plays along, his son, Chase Rickert, 3, right, appears to be wondering if his dad is really having fun. The pie in the face was part of several fundraising activities at which the school raised about $8,000 for ongoing programs.
