SHARING EMPATHY—Tom Lujan delivers a donation to James Sanchez during the recent Redbird School Supply and Toy Drive at the Chumash Interpretive Center in Thousand Oaks at 3290 Lang Ranch Parkway, just off Westlake Boulevard. The event featured Native American music, dancing and food. It was the event’s first return to Ventura County since 1998.
