Libraries need volunteers

The Friends of the Thousand Oaks Library is a nonprofit support group for the Thousand Oaks and Newbury Park branch libraries.

Thousands of dollars are raised to support library programs through the sale of donated used books. The donated books need to be sorted and categorized for the used book sales. Book sorters are needed at the Grant Brimhall/Thousand Oaks Library every Tuesday from 8 a.m. to noon and every Friday from 9 to 10 a.m.

Book sorters are needed at the Newbury Park branch Library every Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call Bob Coffey at (805) 4985550 for more information.
