Battle at the Teen Center

JUDGMENT DAY––Sam Levine, 15, plays drums for Kerascene at the Thousand Oaks Teen Center’s recent sixth annual Battle of the Bands. Six groups competed for a digital recorder and were judged by celebrities, including Chuck Kentis, keyboardist for Rod Stewart; Joseph Surgenor, professional talent buyer from Golden Voice, and Timmy the Turtle, tour manager for Bad Religion and NOFX.
