Lewis honored for expertise in fundraising

Ed Lewis, vice president of development for Alliance for the Arts, was awarded the Professional Fundraiser of the Year title by Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

Lewis is responsible for the alliance’s annual membership program, major gift development, marketing and public relations.

He is credited with the $4.5million naming opportunity for

the Countrywide Performing Arts Center and the $3-million gift naming of the Mary and Richard Carpenter Plaza Park in Thousand Oaks. He has worked with the alliance since 2001.
