Lancers finish second at Newbury Park Wrestling Tournament

WRESTLEMANIA-Above, Thousand Oaks' Brett Parker gets leverage on El Camino Real's Onyi Chima during the 215-pound final at last weekend's Newbury Park Wrestling Tournament. Parker won the weight class. Top left, Rowan Hines of TOHS takes down Royal's Frank Beinz en route to the 135-pound title. Below left, Royal's Kevin Dunn nearly pins Thousand Oaks' Jason Moore in the 125-pound final. Dunn beat Moore to capture the weight class. Royal won the team competition with TOHS finishing second. Simi Valley and Hueneme rounded out the top four. Seventeen teams representing 15 schools competed in the event.
