Cellphone store robbed in Thousand Oaks

A cellphone store, We Connect Wireless, was robbed by two white males at 10:12 a.m. Mon., Dec. 4. The suspects (5-8 to 5-10 and in their mid-20s) entered the store and posed as customers buying a cellphone. While looking at merchandise on display, one of the males told a clerk that they were there to rob the store and that they were armed with a knife.

The same suspect then went behind the counter and took an undisclosed amount of money from a cash register. Before leaving the store, the clerk was warned that he would be harmed if he reported the crime. The suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction.
