Apex girls' soccer club wraps up strong season

The Apex 95 U-11 girls' team tied for first place in the Bronze Alpha Bracket of the Coast Soccer League with a record of eight wins, one loss and three ties.

Apex 95 scored 25 goals and had five shutouts on the season. They beat and tied the other first-place squad.

Team members include Jackie Haas, Courtney Beaulieu, Melinda Weisberger, Nadia Doris, Sommer Saunders, Nicole McDonald, Hannah Dearborn,

Veronica Ross, Christa Booth, Meghan Head, Ari Dugas, Christina Spadafora, Erika Moxley, Liana Moss and Lauren Hines.

Tim Beaulieu is the head coach. Mike Head and Julie Weisberger are assistants.

The team, comprised of girls from Thousand Oaks, Agoura and Moorpark, will be moving to the silver bracket for the next league season and they will compete in tournaments to prepare for State Cup in February.
