Course will teach how law is depicted in movies The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute will offer a class, "Law and Film," 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays beginning Jan. 13 at 501 Marin Ave., near the The Oaks shopping center. Enrollment closes Jan. 12. The class, open to seniors 50 and older, will examine how popular culture, particularly film, deals with the world of law. Films will be shown after class lectures, noon to 2 p.m. The class will continue for eight weeks. There are no tests, grades or credit. The classes are intended for intellectual enrichment. The class is the first class to be held off the CSUCI campus. Institute members may take an unlimited number of courses for $125.
