Two blood drives scheduled for Conejo Valley

Two blood drives are planned for this area.

United Blood Services will be collecting donations from 8 to 12:30 a.m. Sun., Oct. 1 at Emmanuel Presbyterian Chruch, 588 Camino Manzanas, Thousand Oaks.

From 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thurs., Oct. 12, Childrens Hospital Los Angeles will benefit from a blood drive at Neftin Westlake Volvo, 3550 Auto Mall Drive, Thousand Oaks.

A raffle, barbecue lunch and prizes are part of the activities.
