Fox has earned another term As we enter another election period where emotions sometimes run high, I want to thank you for the opportunity to express my unconditional support for the reelection of Councilmember Andy Fox to the Thousand Oaks City Council. It is not often that you find a civic leader whose passion for serving runs as deep as Andy Fox. Councilmember Fox's record over the past few years speaks not only to his love for the city of Thousand Oaks, but to his ability to lead, work with people, and most of all, to get things done without being concerned about being in the public spotlight. Andy Fox was responsible for the joint funding agreements between Conejo Valley Unified School District and the city that resulted in the new athletic fields at all three of our high schools. He was also responsible for stepping in to help the residents at Castle Hill Retirement Center handle their rent dispute with the new owners, and he negotiated the deal that protected the Western Plateau in perpetuity as open space. In short, Andy Fox always finds a way to work with people and get things done for the good of the community. The respect that Councilmember Fox commands is largely due to his ability to come from a position of strength. His record shows that his goal is to simply achieve what is best for city and the quality of life for the residents of Thousand Oaks. Councilmember Fox is a true public servant, and he is busy like most of us. He coaches his four children's sports teams and is a deputy fire chief for the Los Angeles Fire Department yet still, he chooses to bring his substantial experience, commitment and energy to work on our City Council. Councilmember Andy Fox has been the No. 1 vote getter in his previous elections, proving that the residents of Thousand Oaks recognize his special attributes. I encourage you to join me on Nov. 7 and vote for Andy Fox for City Council here in the city of Thousand Oaks Peter J. Turpel Thousand Oaks |
