School at Temple Beth Haverim gets highest accreditation

Temple Beth Haverim has been awarded the "gold standard," the highest level of religious school accreditation from the Bureau of Jewish Education of Greater Los Angeles. Special recognition was given to director of education Nili Ziv and entire temple teaching staff.

Several factors led to the accreditation, according to Dr. Gil Graff, executive director of the bureau. The school has a stable faculty, it has excellent retention (many students stay beyond bar and bat mitzvah age) and a large number of students transfer to Los Angeles Hebrew High School.

The award certificate was issued in a ceremony by Graff to Ziv, Rabbi Gershon Weissman and President David Scherr.

Temple Beth Haverim is at 29900 Ladyface Court in Agoura Hills.
