Equestrians to compete in several Foxfield Derby events
     The 35th annual Foxfield Medal Finals is scheduled for Sat. Oct. 7 at Foxfield, 1250 E. Potrero Road, Westlake Village. This is one of the West Coast's foremost equestrian jumping events with entrants from all over the western states.

     It looks like Westlake has its swagger back. Following a pair of disappointing seasons in which they failed to qualify for the playoffs, the Warriors are off to a 3-0 start thanks, in part, to an opportunistic offense and a defense that's allowing only 13.6 points per game.
