Newbury Park basketball to host Classic Car Show

Newbury Park High School boys' basketball program will present the inaugural Panther Classic Car Show and Street Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sat., Sept. 23 at the school, 456 N. Reino Road, Newbury Park.

The event will feature vendors, raffle prizes, kids' zone, shopping, music, and food.

The placement of cars begins at 8 a.m., with doors opening at 9 a.m. Awards will be given at 1 p.m., including first place trophies, second place plaques and a dash plaque to the first 200

cars. Registration of cars is $20 in advance or $25 on the day of the event.

NPHS students can register cars for $10 in advance or $15 day of event. The event is free to spectators.

All proceeds will go to the school's boys' basketball program.
