Ice cream social to mark Rally Day for Holy Trinity

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church will host its 10th annual Ice Cream Social on Sun., Sept. 10 along with Rally Day. Registration for Village Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. with crafts and games.

The social will be from 11 a.m. through 4 p.m. with water play, a Jolly Jumper and hot dog lunch at $2 per person and sundae buffet at $1 per person.

Village Sunday School has classes from age 4 through sixth grade. This year's theme is "Liv

ing West," a reflection and celebration of baptismal living with stories, discussion, crafts, snacks and songs.

Honey Tree Early Childhood Center will present an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. on the same day in conjunction with the social. The center is an outreach of the church for children from 3 yearsold through kindergarten. Some classes still have a few openings.

The church is at 1 W. Avenida de los Arboles, Thousand Oaks. Sunday worship services are 8:30, 9:45 and 11 a.m. Sunday School and adult Bible study is at 9:45 a.m.
