Chabad to host High Holiday events for kids

From 1 to 3 p.m. Sun., Sept. 17 the Holiday FunShop will offer a entertaining experience for children of all ages at the Conejo Jewish Academy. It will include the "Shofar Factory" where children will learn how a Shofar is made.

There will be prizes, refreshments, crafts and a storytime.

The FunShop is a project of Kids Corps, a Jewish club for youth. "Similar to a visit to the mar

ket, where we procure all sorts of merchandise-the month of Tishrei enriches us with an abundance of experiences, so that we may draw sustenance from it all year long," said the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Schneerson. "We just need to unpack the merchandise and put it to use."
