Eight vie for seats on Conejo Valley school board

Eight candidates filed papers before last Friday's deadline and will be on the Nov. 7 ballot, seeking election to the Conejo Valley Unified School District Board of Education.

Three seats will be filled.

The three incumbents running for reelection are Michael Dunn, Patricia Phelps and Tim Stephens.

The five challengers are Tim Penix, Gregory Lennox, John Anderson, Peggy Buckles and John Short III.
