Village Voices Chorale seeking singers for holiday concerts

The Village Voices Chorale will host open auditions beginning Sun., Aug. 27 for its holiday concert season. Interested men and women singers from throughout Ventura County and the San Fernando Valley may call (805) 495-2701 for additional information and an audition appointment. Choral singing experience and good sight-reading skills are a plus.

The chorale's holiday concert is scheduled for Dec. 8 and 9 in the Scherr Forum Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. Directed by Gloria Hilliard and accompanied by Christine DeKlotz, the chorale offers a blend of choral music from classical to Broadway.
