Car show needs items to auction

Red Line Corvettes, in conjunction with the Thousand Oaks Police Department and Conejo Recreation and Parks District, will host the 13th annual Car Show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sun., Sept. 17 at Conejo Creek Park.

Donation items are requested for the silent auction or raffles. All donations are tax deductible.

This event is the single largest fundraiser for the local DARE

program, a nonprofit organization that educates youth about the dangers of drug abuse and empha

sizes prevention. All proceeds from the car show go directly to

DARE and related youth programs for the education of youth and to Hospice of the Conejo.

The car show will include raffles, awards, food, drinks, vendors and entertainment. Admission for spectators is free.

The show usually attracts more than 100 Corvettes from all parts of California, from the 1953 model to 2007.

For more information, call Tony Panchenko, car show chairman, at (805) 499-3152.
