Sales of Conejo Valley homes remain sluggish

June sales of Conejo Valley single-family homes totaled 176 compared to 132 sold in May and 238 a year ago, according to Glen Scalise, president of the Conejo Valley Association of Realtors.

Median sales price for single-family homes in June was $880,769. In 2005, it was $888,554. The median price is the point where half of the units sold for more and half for less.

Scalise reports condominium sales totaled 63 in June compared to 61 in May and 102 for June 2005.

Total sales for all real estate transactions in June were $236.1 million. The total was $304.6 million for June last year.

New residential listings totaled 450 in June compared to 352 in June last year and 349 in May.
