Take the family to City Wok City Wok, the newest addition to the Thousand Oaks dining scene, is an East-meets-West collaboration. Serving his first North Hollywood guest in 1990, founder Stuart Davis' dream was a contemporary yet casual restaurant offering authentic, cookedto-order Asian cuisine. Today City Wok celebrates the opening of its newest location in Thousand Oaks. Franchisee Tom Shahbazi can't wait for friends and neighbors to give it a try. "City Wok's flavors rock and our food is addictive. We use only the freshest ingredients and homemade sauces in dishes cooked-to-order in an exciting exhibition kitchen," he said. Patrons won't find steam tables and there's no standing in line. Instead, patrons are served tableside "in a comfortable and hip environment," according to Shahbazi. In addition, takeout and delivery options are available. City Wok is at 593 N. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks and can be reached at (805) 496-2501.
