Teen Video Festival winners named

The winners of the 2006 Conejo Teen Video Festival were announced on June 28 at a ceremony at the Scherr Forum Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. The winning videos were screened at the event.

Kellen Moore won both best music video category and best technical achievement for "One Word."

The winner of the most original category was Tyler Holtman, "The Poet." Guest presenters included

Monica Nolan of the Ventura County Arts Council, Pete Martinez of the Teen Rec Center, Larry Jordan of Larry Jordan and Associates, Supervisor Linda Parks, Councilman Andy Fox, Alan McDaniel of Adelphia, Glenn Beard of the Brooks Institute of Photography and Terry Fishman, member of the Thousand Oaks Arts Commission and the board of governors.

The festival was directed by J.J. Linsalata of the Thousand Oaks Arts Commission.
