Yard sale to help charity

The Hollywood Storage RoundUp benefiting Many Mansions, originally scheduled for June 10, has been moved to Sat., July 15 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hollywood Storage Center of Thousand Oaks, 3425 Old Conejo Road, Newbury Park, off the 101 Freeway at Wendy Drive.

The community yard sale, barbecue and family fun day was delayed to complete construction at the Conejo Valley's largest selfstorage facility.

The July 15 event will include a yard sale with more than 80 covered rooms, a celebrity estate sale, free pony rides, carnival games, crafts and block building areas, live music and more.

The Thousand Oaks Elks Lodge will serve tri-tip, chicken and ribs.

The event will raise funds for Many Mansions' summer camp program for low-income children residing at Many Mansions.

Guests who donate used furniture or household items will receive two tickets to the newly renovated Hollywood Wax Museum. To see the wish list for needed items, visit www.manymansions. org/ donate.htm.

Spaces are still available for residents to sign up for clean, covered areas to sell gently used items, and booth spaces for artists selling handmade jewelry, cards, furniture, wearable art and other fine goods.

Yard sale sign-up forms may be picked up at Hollywood Storage Center or printed from www.hollywoodstoragecenter.com. Artist sign-up forms are available by calling (805) 499-1102.
