Feeling the beat in Newbury Park

READY TO PERFORM-The Newbury Park Mystikal drum and bugle corps enters the field to compete in competition at Newbury Park High School last weekend. The corps is made up of 57 members. Below, Nikki Vahle, 14, keeps a close eye on the drum major as she plays cymbals. They'll soon be off to Madison, Wis. to participate in an international competition in early August.
