Police patrol program plans open house

The T.O. Police Department will host a 6:30 p.m. open house on Tues., June 27 to provide information on the Volunteer in Policing program and other volunteer opportunities.

The police patrol volunteer program will be discussed as will opportunities to serve at resource centers, in administrative areas or with the special events team.

Residents can learn more about becoming a VIP and the requirements to participate.

Light refreshments will be served.

The open house will be in the community room at the East Valley Sheriff's Station, 2101 E. Olsen Road, Thousand Oaks. It's expected to last until 8 p.m.
