The location: At Los Robles Regional Medical Center at the exit onto Janss Road nearest Lynn Road in Thousand Oaks
The problem: When turning left from Los Robles onto Janss Road, a blind curve seems to make for a dangerous exit maneuver. Oncoming vehicles could collide with vehicles exiting the medical center, some people said.
Possible solutions: The intersection should have a traffic signal so that motorists exiting the medical center will feel safe about turning onto Janss Road.
Immediate action: The public has previously voiced this concern to the city, according to Kathy Lowry, Thousand Oaks engineer associate.
"There's a project that might come forward to the city council with the medical center office driveways, and at that point we'll put restrictions on that driveway so that people can't turn left out of the driveway," Lowry said. "And we also might do some more work with the landscaping (to make both the left and right curves more visible)."

Lowry said the location has no accident history. She also said that at this time, if motorists feel uncomfortable about using the exit, they could choose two other nearby exits that empty out onto Janss Road.
The city wouldn't install a traffic signal at the location in question, according to Lowry. Jim Mashiko, Thousand Oaks Senior Civil Engineer, said a traffic signal is usually justified by an intersection of two streets that have a certain traffic volume. The exit at Los Robles Regional Medical Center most likely wouldn't qualify for a traffic signal, he said.
