Motorcycle manufacturer moves into Newbury Park

Senior vice presidents Bob Flink and Bob Shafer of the Calabasas office of Lee & AssociatesLA North/Ventura have completed the $5.4 million sale of a 51,000-square-foot industrial warehouse at 770 Lawrence Drive, Newbury Park.

Their client, B-M Properties, is the real estate arm of Helmet House, the Calabasas Hills-based distributor of motorcycle helmets and manufacturer of riding gear for the power sports industry.

The Newbury Park site will accommodate the company's continued rapid expansion. Amenities include heavy power, 20-foot ceilings, and drive-in access.

Founded in 1969, Helmet House has a reputation as preeminent U.S. suppliers and marketers of motorcycling gear, including the Tour Master, Cortech, Shoei, HJC and Oxtar brands.

Shafer and Flink of Lee & Associates represented the buyer. Jim McDonald Group100 represented the seller, Newbury Park Associates.
