Father's Day service coming to Unity Center

Unity Center Church will present a special Father's Day program, "Opening to Receive," from noon to 2 p.m. Sun., June 18 at 1414 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks. Egan Sanders, intuitive counselor and spiritual development teacher, will facilitate the program.

The workshop will explore ways that people can open themselves to receiving the good the universe has in store for them.

"My goal is to create a loving space to assist others in acknowledging that they are the creators of their own reality. Every person is an infinite being with unlimited potential," said Sanders.

Regular Sunday worship services at Unity Center Church are at 10 a.m. The church "is a loving and accepting community that encourages personal growth through the practice of prayer and the acknowledgement of God in everyday life," said spokeswoman Judy Valencerina.
