Help for hospice

CHUCK ROGERS/Special to the Thousand Oaks Acorn HOSPICE OF THE CONEJO GETS CHARITABLE GRANT-Presenting a $1,000 check from Vons supermarkets to Hospice of the Conejo Executive Director Maria Prescott are Phil Schrack, left, store manager of the Vons in Chatsworth, and assistant store manager Bob Ordas, who previously worked at Pavilions in North Ranch. Ordas still supports the hospice, although he no longer works in Conejo Valley. The money will fund youth programs.
