Mike Dunn an asset in CVUSD Who is waging the campaign against (Conejo Valley Unified School District Trustee) Mike Dunn? And for what reason? Could it be that he is a good representative who is interested in student and parent concerns? And is not corrupt? He would never have given back the property to the developer in Ranch Conejo in which an elementary/K-8 school should have been built on. He wants to be involved in parent and student issues like classrooms that are adequately supplied with textbooks, television monitors and computers. He is concerned with the "cattling"of students on overcrowded campuses. He has always called me back about any school concern. Are the teachers' association representatives after Mike Dunn because he thought that there should be more time off before Christmas than one day? Maybe the teachers should elect representatives who actually represent them. Maybe it's time for the teachers to become educated about their union representatives who don't even bargain for adequate health benefits. The filing of an unfair labor practice complaint is a waste of energy and money. Please, parents and taxpayers, become informed that new school board members like Mike Dunn need to be elected. He was the only person to vote against a higher pay raise for the school board than was given to the teachers. It's not the amount of money that counts but the principle.
