Speaker to discuss organ transplants

Dr. Gabriel Danovitch, director of the Kidney and Pancreas Transplant Program at UCLA, will discuss ethical issues with members of the Ventura County/West Valley Transplant Recipients International Organization at 7 p.m. tonight, Thurs., May 18 at the Baxter Building in Westlake Village.

The event is free and open to the public as well as interested medical personnel.

Danovitch is a renowned expert on organ transplantation.
