Couple knows wine, will help launch new stores

WineStyles, a national franchise that "demystifies the wine shopping experience," has named Thousand Oaks residents Levett and Pia Washington as area developers for north Los Angeles and Ventura counties.

The Washingtons will be responsible for driving the development of the WineStyles brand and selling franchises to interested buyers in their market.

"Our growth and success will be in response to consumers who are tired of being intimidated by the overwhelming selection of wine in typical liquor stores," Levett Washington said. "We believe a great wine is defined by its taste, not its label, price, or point of origin."
